Senior VP, Translational Medicine

Dr Clark is Senior VP Translational Medicine at Transtech Pharma, Inc., where he brings more than 14 years of experience in clinical development from both large, global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies spanning exploratory development through to Phase 3 & 4. He has extensive translational medicine expertise having worked across several therapeutic areas. His industry career started in the UK with SmithKline Beecham and GlaxoSmithKline, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in their early clinical development groups and subsequently with Pfizer in the US. Before joining Transtech Pharma Inc., Dr Clark was Chief Medical Officer at NormOxys Inc., a Boston based biotechnology start-up.

Dr Clark is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh College of Medicine and completed training in internal medicine and academic clinical pharmacology in the UK. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and the author of numerous scientific papers from both his academic and industry research.
