TTPSelect™ operates on the data set generated in TTPDock™. TTPSelect™ generates site-specific reports containing plate numbers and other relevant chemical information required for biological screening in TTPScreen® . TTProbes® may be selected for further experimentation based on ranking and the basis for selection is entirely up to the scientist. For example, TTPSelect™ may be used to specify the highest scoring TTProbes® in each association site, select these (and, optionally, their close analogs), and submit these to TTPScreen® preferentially. This method is especially useful where biological screening throughput is limited. TTPSelect™ can be employed to dramatically shorten the time from inception to hit, as TTPSelect™ will have reduced the number of TTProbes® screened in biology from >60,000 to <1000 in order to achieve this end.
TTPSelect™ may be used to compare TTProbes® docking scores across association sites. As these TTProbes® are processed in TTPScreen® , high - scoring TTProbes® in a given association site which also are active in TTPScreen® point to that specific association site as being functionally significant for that protein target. Such a finding initiates the structure – guided optimization of these TTProbes® into more potent and selective TTP Integrated Libraries® .
