Adnan M. M. Mjalli, Ph.D.
Chairman, President and CEO

Dr. Mjalli obtained his Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry in 1989 from the University of Exeter, UK. His postdoctoral work was carried out at the University of Rochester. Dr. Mjalli is an internationally recognized expert in drug discovery and development in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. He held various positions of increasing responsibility in research and senior management at several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies including Merck & Co. He is the author of more than 40 scientific papers, 620 patents and patent applications and four book chapters. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of PharmaCore, a company he also founded in 1998. He previously served as President and CEO of PharmaCore from December of 1998 to November 2000. Dr. Mjalli also serves on the Board of Directors of Siga Technologies, Inc., a biopharmaceuticals company developing products for the prevention and treatment of serious infectious diseases and biowarfare agents. He serves on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Biotechnology Center located in Research Triangle Park, NC, and on the Advisory Committee for Biotechnology in the Piedmont Triad.

Ronald O. Perelman

Mr. Perelman is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc., a diversified holding company with interests in consumer products, defense, entertainment, financial services, education, biotechnology and gaming. Among the principal interests of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc. are Revlon, Inc., Allied Security, Inc., AM General, TransTech Pharma, Inc., Scientific Games Corporation, Panavision, Deluxe Film and Harland Clarke.

An active philanthropist, Mr. Perelman is the founder of the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program and has established the Department of Dermatology in his name at NYU Medical Center, The Ronald O. Perelman Heart Institute at New York Presbyterian Hospital and The Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine at Weill Cornell. Committed to women's health, the arts and education, Mr. Perelman was President of the Guggenheim Museum and serves on the Boards of Carnegie Hall, The University of Pennsylvania, the New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and the NYU Medical Center, among others. Mr. Perelman holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Wharton School.

Paul G. Savas

Mr. Savas is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MacAndrews & Forbes and various of its affiliates. He has had vario us roles of increasing responsibility since joining MacAndrews & Forbes in 1994. Mr. Savas has also been Executive Vice President and Ch ief Financial Officer of M&F Worldwide Corp. since May 2006, and he serves on the board of SIGA Technologies, Inc. and Harland Clarke Ho ldings Corp.

Barry F. Schwartz

Mr. Schwartz is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc. and various of its affiliates. He joined MacAndrews in 1989. He is also a director of Scientific Games Corporation, Harland Clarke Holdings Corp. and Revlon Consumer Prod ucts Corporation. Mr. Schwartz is also a Member of the Board of Trustees of Kenyon College, serving on its Executive Committee, and is C hair of its Admissions and Financial Aid Committee. He also serves as a Trustee of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities a nd Colleges, and is a Member of the Board of Visitors of the Georgetown University Law Center.

Thomas R. B. Wardell

Mr. Wardell is Co-Chair of the Corporate Department of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP and focuses on corporate counseling, corporate finance and securities, acquisitions and dispositions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, and compliance and governance matters, including investigations both internal and with regulatory significance. From 1988 to 1993 Mr. Wardell was CEO of Versyss, a provider of computer systems for small business applications.

Mr. Wardell is a graduate of Harvard College and of Harvard Law School.
